Make Sure It’s Closed is a short minute-long indie horror game where you try to close your garage door. Your parents left you at home alone and remind you to keep it closed. The door keeps on mysteriously popping back open, you never really get it closed! It’s completely quiet, but you do just get the feeling that something (or someone) is keeping it open.
Although seemingly mundane at first, Make Sure It’s Closed turned out to have a good build up and scare. The way the monster slithers in is so creepy and unexpected. It almost feels like a giant spider just slipped from underneath the door, really ensuring that panic attack. The creator made the game based on something he feared as a child. It’s only about a minute long, so it’s worth checking out.
