Mr. Hopp’s Playhouse is a horror game about Ruby’s creepy toy bunny that haunts her. Ruby wakes up in the middle of the night to find Mr. Hopp’s missing. It was given to her by her grandma who recently passed away.
She’s terrified of him though, and normally keeps him far away in the corner of the room. Terrified of the strangely missing toy, she runs off to her parents room. When she gets there, the room is empty with a giant claw mark on the wall.
She rushes back to her room, when suddenly a giant Mr. Hopp’s appears behind the darkness of another room. Scared for her life, she runs for the door! The front door is locked though, and you’re trapped with the psychotic monster bunny. So the game has you looking around for they key, and in the meantime some tapes.
There’s 6 tapes to search around the house for. They’ll tell you more about Ruby, her grandmother, and the troubles she’s been having recently. Though it doesn’t really explain her current situation with the giant rabbit.
With each tape you pickup, Mr. Hopp’s appearance changes. He becomes darker, creepier, and more disfigured. There’s 3 different endings, the first of which is just going back to bed at the beginning when leaving your parents room. Then there’s the usual ending where you escape the house. Then there’s the ending where you escape the house and also burn it down.
Mr. Hopp’s Playhouse All Endings
The first ending is called Sleep Tight, where Ruby thinks it was all just a dream. Though the horrifying rabbit in the background would like to disagree. The “Escape Artist” ending is the usual ending where you get the slingshot and run through the gauntlet with the giant head and shadow hands.
To get the Firestarter ending, you have to pickup the lighter fluid and matches. You can pickup the lighter fluid in the kitchen, only after picking up the first tape.
If you pickup the 2nd tape, you will no longer be able to get it. Then when you pickup the slingshot, shoot the first vase you see in the hall to the left. Inside the vase are the matches!
Then before you leave, you will be able to interact with the white towel/blanket in the hall. You light it on fire, and run from the giant Mr. Hopp’s. In the end, Ruby looks back to her house in flames, hoping the job is taken care of for good.
