What Awaits Us Below is a short horror game where you have to escape an unknown world that you were dragged into. You work for a company that was developing some sort of portal. Something went wrong and it transported you, your office, and coworkers to an alternate reality. Can you figure out what happened and save yourself in time?
It seems you were the last of the workers who were sucked through the portal. They left notes to help you escape. You’ll need to repair the portal machine that’s in the lowest building with supplies that you find on the way. As you get closer to the bottom, the whispers get louder. Eventually the monsters with their red eyes appear through the fog, ready to take you.

You only have a certain amount of time to escape though. The buildings around you are falling as well, and they can also fall victim to the whisperers before you get there. It’ll probably take at least a second playthrough so you’re familiar with where all the items are so you can make it in time.
