Silent Hill Remake Concept Demo – PS1 Style Horror Game Demo

The Silent Hill Remake Concept Demo created by Zero Trace Operative is a recreation of the beginning nightmare in the first Silent Hill game. Although labeled a demo, the game is complete and will not be continued. Many things are different, but if you’ve played it on PS1 you’ll be familiar with quite a bit.

Harry Mason and his daughter Cheryl are driving to their favorite vacation spot. Late that night, a figure suddenly appears through the darkness. Harry turns the wheel in a panic and wrecks the car, knocking him unconscious. He wakes up from the wreckage, but his daughter is missing. He heads toward the small town of Silent Hill to search for her.

A Short, but Enjoyable Silent Hill Inspired Horror Game

You can look around and explore the town, but you can’t really enter anywhere. It’s strange how you even got there, your car crashed through a fence and it doesn’t look like there’s anything on the other side. You’re trapped here though, the tunnels and everywhere else is completed blocked off. The town is covered in an endless snow and mysterious fog, and we make our way through.

Silent Hill Remake Concept Demo Monsters
Not a welcoming place!

The iconic alarm sound plays, and the transition to total darkness and evil starts. You take out your lighter and continue your search, watching as the world around you transforms to the eerie and grotesque scene we all love.

The Silent Hill remake concept demo was an interesting and faithful game remake with everything you expect from the series. The design of the city and iconic snowy, foggy background was spot on. Even the PlayStation BIOS startup screen and sounds were included!
