It’s not Camp Crystal Lake, but Jason is lurking around killing off your friends in the woods! Hockey Mask Nightmare is a short indie horror game inspired by the Friday the 13th movies.
You wake up in the middle of the night and leave your tent after getting a strange feeling. Looking around, the camp is empty and your friends are nowhere to be found. It’s a small map to explore, with surprisingly nice details and a night sky. The camp has the perfect atmosphere of approaching doom.
For a 5 minute horror game, Hockey Mask Nightmare is a neat short and scary experience of Jason chasing down one of his victims. The music is pretty hype for Jason bursting through the door and running after you. His walk is pretty intense, along with him holding the axe.
Although you get to the car in time Jason still wins. It’s like a bad nightmare where you almost just escape from a killer, but can’t use the car keys in time!
