The Haunted PS1 Demo Disc 2022: Spectral Mall has been released! The Haunted PS1 team releases a demo disc every year that includes many highly anticipated indie horror game demo’s. Many that will be released as full games, and some that were only ever meant to be a demo.
This year the demo pack is playable through the Spectral Mall hub, a wintry and spooky abandoned mall. Each game has it’s own sign that lights up as you walk past it! It’s a perfect aesthetic to show off the games and give the players a small exploration adventure. There’s 18 games in total, and maybe even a secret game or two hidden within the disc. Even the outside was pretty neat to check out.

There really isn’t a bad game on this list that I’ve seen so far. I’d highly recommend trying at least some of these out! My favorites are Nowhere, MI, Mortal Meal, and BÅÅBÖSÅÅNGJÅÅR (which was also featured in the Haunted PS1 Madvent Calender 2021). Most games are a pretty good length, being under an hour long. Any HPS1 demo disc is always worth trying out.
