Boo Boo – A Short Comical Horror Game with a Terrifying Villain

Boo Boo is a short horror game where you come home to a frightening sight. The house is empty, and you find an axe and a hockey mask in the kitchen. Maybe you’re not alone? There’s also a bloody hand print smeared on the wall next to you.

You can look around the house for a while, eventually the truck leaves your garage. It was your husband, and he just left you stranded. There’s also quite a few glitches. I don’t know if the creator expected this, but you can walk through the back door and explore around the entire world outside of the house. It’s very well designed, it made me think it was a stock pre-modeled town, but I haven’t seen it anywhere before.

The entire time you carry the axe expecting something to happen, you can even swing it around. It was actually pretty scary, you’re really counting on a killer popping out from one of the doors. However, the axe doesn’t have any real use. The man lurking around your house turns out to be… Steve Irwin The Crocodile Hunter, croikey!

Boo Boo was an interesting horror game experiment with many unexpected turns and a comical end. I liked how the game gave you an axe, and made you think you would have to fight a killer. In the end, it turned out to be pretty funny and absurd. Created by Seaniemaurice for the two minute horror jam.
